Dear Principal,
After many students found the Math paper challenging, the focus now shifts to the Science Board Exam on 25th.
We closely analysed the official CBSE Sample Question Paper.
One thing is clear.
This is no longer a memory-based paper.
It is a concept application paper.
🔎 What Type of Questions Are Being Asked?
Across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, we see:
• High number of 1-mark MCQs
Testing conceptual precision — not direct textbook lines.
• Assertion–Reason questions
Students must evaluate logic, cause and explanation accuracy.
This demands deep clarity.
• Case-based / Experimental questions (3–5 marks)
Electrolysis setup
Neutralisation experiment
Circuit analysis
Lens and mirror applications
These questions assume the child understands how experiments actually work.
• Numericals in Electricity & Optics (High weightage scoring area)
Effective resistance
Power & heat calculations
Mirror formula
Lens formula
Marks are lost not because students don’t study —
But because they cannot link concept with application.
📊 What This Pattern Tells Us
CBSE is rewarding:
✔ Conceptual clarity
✔ Experimental understanding
✔ Real-life application
✔ Logical reasoning
✔ Confidence with formulas
Not just memorisation of definitions.
And this is where many schools are rethinking how science is reinforced inside classrooms.

Dexter Box is designed as a chapter-mapped experiential kit aligned to NCERT.
When students:
Build real circuits
Perform chemical reactions
Test pH using indicators
Observe refraction through lenses
Explore buoyancy, motion, magnetism hands-on
Assertion–Reason becomes intuitive.
Case-based questions feel familiar.
Numericals feel logical instead of abstract.
We are not changing the syllabus.
We are strengthening understanding within the same chapters.
Several partner schools are now integrating Dexter Box alongside regular teaching to build exam confidence and long-term conceptual clarity.

Let’s prepare students not just to attempt the paper —
But to understand science.
